The room on the corner

Breakfast keeps going long after breakfast.

This is a neighborhood room rather than a concept. Pine booths along the window wall, a floor of terracotta tile, ceiling fans turning slowly, and a stained-glass pendant hanging over the booths.

The griddle is going when the doors open, and the breakfast plates stay on all the way through. Order migas in the middle of the afternoon and nobody will blink.

6:30 a.m. Doors open, Mon - Sat

A stained-glass Tiffany pendant hanging low over the booths: blue morning-glory flowers and green leaves under a band of red glass, with pine booth backs receding behind it.

The room

Booths, tile, and a great deal of stained glass.

Pendant lamps hang the length of the ceiling, the booths are solid pine, and the tile runs warm underfoot. It is a room built to be sat in for a while.

The main dining room: a full row of stained-glass pendants down the ceiling, ceiling fans, red vinyl chairs at laid tables, and pine booth backs along the right-hand side.
Almost every table gets a pendant of its own.
Pine booths facing the window wall beneath a line of stained-glass pendants, with the parking lot and a brick facade visible through the glass.
Booths along the window wall.
The second dining hall seen across a wood table: two large stained-glass pendants, hanging plants along the window sill, and empty tables.
A second hall, off the main room.
